How To Reach Kamshet
Kamshet is 65 km from Pune and 100 km from Mumbai — one of the most accessible adventure destinations in Maharashtra. It has a railway station on the main Mumbai–Pune line, making it unusually easy to reach without a car.

By Car: Take NH48 (Mumbai–Pune Expressway) toward Mumbai and exit at Kamshet (Exit 14). Journey time: 1–1.5 hours.
By Train: Pune Junction to Kamshet — multiple trains daily on the Mumbai–Pune main line. Journey: approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. Kamshet station is in town; paragliding sites are 5–10 km from the station (auto-rickshaw available).
From Mumbai (100 km — 1.5 to 2 hours)
By Car: Mumbai–Pune Expressway, exit at Kamshet. Journey: 1.5–2 hours from the Western suburbs.
By Train: Mumbai CST or Dadar to Kamshet — multiple trains daily. Journey: approximately 2 hours. One of the easiest and most scenic train journeys from Mumbai.
Getting Around Kamshet
Auto-rickshaws are available from Kamshet station to the paragliding sites and caves. Negotiate rates — ₹150–300 to most spots. For Bedsa Caves, Bhaja Caves and Tikona Fort, a private auto or taxi for the day is recommended (₹800–1200). For the paragliding sites, your operator will typically provide pickup or directions from the station.
