Sinhagad Fort (30 km)

Pune's most accessible and beloved fort. A 1.5-hour climb from the base brings you to the plateau where the famous Battle of Sinhagad was fought. The fort has excellent chai stalls and vendors selling fresh buttermilk. Views of Pune city are visible on clear days.

Mulshi Dam and Lake (40 km)

One of the most beautiful reservoirs near Pune. Drive via Paud Road — the road along the dam is perfect for a sunrise or sunset stop. The Tamhini Ghat beyond the dam is one of Maharashtra's best monsoon drives.

Pawna Lake (55 km)
